WHO IS ISSAC MANSFIELD ?

SALVATION

I never grew up in a Christian household. I grew up in the world, following culture and whatever the world said was right. We had the house, the money, and a big family—but we didn’t have Jesus. As I got older, I began to notice the tension between my mom and dad, which eventually led to our family breaking apart and my parents splitting. That separation was devastating for me. I started struggling with suicidal thoughts, fell into deep sadness, and felt completely alone. I kept giving in to my flesh, chasing temporary things that made me feel happy in the moment. Along the way, I battled homelessness, abandonment, and overwhelming emotions that I couldn’t control. But in the middle of all this pain, something happened—my mom gave her life to Christ. She began pouring into me, constantly sharing the message of Jesus. One night, I reached a breaking point. I couldn’t take it anymore, so I cried out to God, pleading for His help, seeking His guidance, and desperately longing for His light. And in that moment, I felt the presence of God. My life was changed forever.

FAMILY

I married my wife, Makenna Mansfield, on February 28, 2025—the most amazing woman I’ve ever met. I come from a family of five who faced their fair share of struggles, and through that, I’ve learned a lot about what I want, and what I don’t want for my future family. As Makenna and I grow in our marriage and in our faith, our goal is to build a Christ-centered home and raise our children in the way of the Lord. While following the call of God on our lives.

MUSIC

I was raised around music, recording my first song at just eight years old and performing that same song live when I was nine. My dad, uncles, and grandmothers are all talented musicians—ranging from guitarists to rappers, singers, piano players, and producers. Music has always been a huge part of my life, and from a young age, I was in love with it. When I became a Christian, I actually gave up on music for a time, thinking it wasn’t good enough for Christ. But God showed me that He had given me this gift for a purpose—to glorify Him and to draw people closer to Him. From that moment on, I dedicated myself to pursuing Christian rap as a career, and God has been so faithful every step of the way.
